Get that Perfect First Impression with Maybelline!

As a woman who is always out in a field and trying to make a sale, first impression matters. Since my job is into sales, I need to look pleasant and appealing to my target customers.  Imagine if I look like this? Do you think someone would like to buy from a lady who looks tired, stressed and haggard?Of course not! Good thing there is a makeup product that could change people's first impression in you in just seconds!
So from looking haggard, tired (and very pregnant) I looked like this in an instant:

In just an instant I looked younger and fresh after applying Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Stick! In seconds, my look transformed without applying a lot of products in my face. A lot of people have been commenting that I look glowing and blooming lately despite the fact that I'm nearing my due and carrying a boy inside me.

Because I love its effect on my face, let me share with you my thoughts on the product. Packaging
Whenever people see this BB Stick, they all say "Is that a …

Back When I Didn't Know

Top: H&M || Shorts: DIYed Sandals: Random || Bag: MK
Let me take you back seven months ago when Paolo and I didn't know that I was pregnant. I know, its not Thursday and its not a good time for a throwback thursday post but since I do not have new OOTD shots, I'm just sharing you a long overdue outfit shot that I failed to blog then. It was the time when I was 50lbs lighter and stretchmarks free. Oh gosh I miss those days!
Right after our wedding, Paolo and I took a long break from work and had our vacation at Boracay. There, we tried a lot of water sports, (jetski, parasail, island hop) and even partied the Boracay way. Afterwards, we went to Enchanted Kingdom with my family and rode on all the extreme rides available. Only to find out a couple of weeks later that I was already 6 weeks pregnant with our first child. When the OB found out all the activities I did plus my history of myomectomy and uteroplasty last 2010, my OB immediately prescribed me with pampakapit to mak…

Preggy in Pink

Blazer: SM GTW || Top: Paradise Treats Shoes: || Bag: Lacoste
Finally another outfit post after weeks of inactivity. I know that this is my biggest ever. I'm shying away from OOTDs cause I'm really shy to show you how big I've grown. But heck, being big is part of pregnancy and unfortunately my body is not the type that won't get big despite being pregnant. Fortunately, some of my pre-pregnancy clothes still fit me and thus decided to put them on. I hope I still look fine despite my huge frame and my super huge bump.
Speaking of huge, I'm currently having a hard time moving around lately cause my bump is making me feel so tired easily! At 34 weeks, I started feeling so tired easily, having shortness of breath and other uneasy feelings. Yet, I only have 4 weeks left to see and touch my baby in the flesh and I couldn't get more excited!! I know all my hardships and sacrifices will be worth it!

Our Journey to Parenthood

"Being a parent is dirty and scary and beautiful and hard and exhausting and miraculous and exhausting and thankless and joyful and frustrating all at once. It's everything."
Exactly a day before Father's day, Paolo and I decided to have our maternity photoshoot done. We initially have a different photographer to shoot us but because of some conflict in our schedule, we ended up having our shoot at Nice Print Studios at SM Megamall. This shoot is something very important to us as we wanted to treasure this moment. As you browse over the photos, you would see our excitement for the coming of our first born.
These are raw photos we got from our shoot yesterday. We still have to wait for 5 days before we can claim our enhanced photos so I decided to edit them on photoshop and alter the colors. I don't know how to use photoshop so I was not able to remove the stretchmarks from my belly. Talk about amateur editing!

We have 5 weeks left before the arrival of our baby a…

My Mommy Make-Up List

I have been meaning to share with you the beauty products that I use for the longest time but I never had the chance to write about it until now. Thank heavens its the a holiday today and I was able to squeeze in writing a post in between my rests. I don't find much time to post stuff on my blog cause I'm always tired from work and I usually spend my free time sleeping in and resting. I never thought that pregnancy can really consume a number of your energy. As they say, nakakatamad kumilos on your third trimester.
Anyways, going back to the topic, I have been very picky with the products that I use to my face (and body) since I got pregnant. I made sure that the beauty products I use are (1) made of natural ingredients and (2) recommended fr pregnant women. Hence, the preference of Human Nature and The Body Shop products to my face.
Disclaimer: I took this photos when I was still 4 months pregnant. What is super overdue?
Currently, I am using The Body Shop Extra Virgin Minera…

Purple Yum Yum

Dress: Landmark || Necklace: Oxygen and SM Accessories
I know, I looked like Barney in my purple number. Just look at my big bump, my maxi dress and hola, you see Barney's whiter version haha! Anyways, kidding aside, Paolo took these photos a couple of days ago after we had our 3D ultrasound. Just like other first time parents, we are very much excited on how our first born will look. On our baby's first scan, we intially thought that Leon looks like me but on a closer look the second time around, it was revealed that our baby resembles more like his dad. Well, we really can't say cause the baby's face will definitely change the moment he goes out of my tummy.
Since I have less than 2 months left, we are busy preparing for the coming of our baby. We almost finished shopping for his clothes and looking forward to our baby shower. Also, we just acquired a second hand SUV (that we named Max) so we have a bigger car for our growing family. We also finished buying importan…
